Background
Geoffrey
left for Everest on Saturday 14th April aiming to scale
the north side of the world’s highest mountain.
He narrowly missed reaching the summit
last spring, after ill health forced him to turn back
just hours away from reaching the peak.
Geoffrey is an accomplished climber,
having already conquered Aconcagua, Mont Blanc, Kilimanjaro
and Mount Kenya.
He
is part of a team of 11, six of whom, including Geoffrey
will bid for the summit. Geoffrey’s fellow team
members come from New Zealand and England.
